Workshop news!
Saturday 25th Nov at Hellens, Ledbury. Messa La Luna Piena ‘Full Moon’ Mass in 8 parts, with George Parris. A workshop for singers and instruments (A=440). This workshop with choir conductor and singer George Parris explores an exquisite Italian work from Giuseppe Corsi da Celano, an almost forgotten Italian composer. The work is florid, tuneful and inventive, with moments of daring and colourful harmony combined with gestures of grand opulence. For more information and to book click here. |

Saturday 4th November. A Tudor Celebration St.Ismael’s Church Hall, Uzmaston, Haverfordwest, Pembrokeshire, SA62 4AA. A workshop for singers with tutor Luke Spencer. A chance to sing music by some of the finest English composers of the 16th century, with the option to sing the programme in its liturgical setting in St Ismael's Church after the workshop. Click here to book: Future Workshops Friday 27th to Sunday 29th October An Early Music in the Marches event, supported by BMEMF. A concert in St Andrew's Church, Presteigne LD8 2AF and a two-day workshop for singers and instrumentalists (A=440) at Upper House, Discoed LD8 2NW. On the Friday, the Marches Baroque Chamber Orchestra will play Concerti Grossi by Handel and his contemporaries. They will be co-directed by David Hatcher and Julia Bishop, who will also tutor the workshop on Saturday and Sunday. It will feature some of Handel's greatest choruses.
