In the magnificent great hall of Burton Court, looked upon by a pair of stags enjoying our every note, tutor Will Dawes conducts us in a Morley madrigal whilst fellow tutor Katie Bank sings along.

We take a break from singing whilst Katie explains our next piece, the macaronic Nolo Mortem Peccatoris - we now all know that macaronic means mixing Latin with, in this case, English!

One of many lighthearted moments during the day. Will has perfected the art of getting his choirs to work hard and enjoyably and was impressed with our overall quality. In his summing up, he described us as "Neither Divas nor Devils: merely glorious Middle Earth" - most apt and much appreciated.
